If you think Medium is different you are delusion, Justin.

Medium now totally controls where the views go, and hence the money by using their boost system.

Writers like myself and others who once had a chance at growing an audience now do not because our content does not fit into Mediums rules about what makes it worthy of a ‘boost’ aka ‘the Stubblebine reacharound’.

So my average article has gone from hundreds of views to less than twenty. And my follower count which grew steadily for two years has come to a standstill.
And Tony’s own words to me were that it’s because I don’t promote my own stories to my audience enough.

Of course, criticising the platform makes me some kind of anti-Medium terrorist even though I’m a paid customer with a legitimate complaint.

So, no offence Justin but you can stick Medium day up your Mate Tony’s corporate pigeon hole until Medium realises that where the views and the money go should be the choice of Medium readers not the corporation itself.
